Vermont Cheese, Beer & Wine Pairings with Zoe Brickley

Zoe Brickley will be in Tampa for 2 Cheese pairing events bringing 5 of the Jasper Hill Farms most awarded and delicious cheeses for a Beer and a Wine pairing event. Terra Sur Café is hosting the Wine & Jasper Hill Farm Cheese pairing event on Tuesday, January 7th at 6:30 pm at their restaurant.  Zoe Brickley, Michael Landis, World Cheese Judge & Chris LaSala with Terlato Wines will bring 5 Jasper Hill Farm cheeses together with 5 world class wines.  Zoe, Michael & Chris will walk you through each of the pairings to discover how and why each one works together.

Zoe Brickley is the Director of Development & Marketing Jasper Hill Farm, Jasper Hill is an independently owned, working dairy farm with an on-site creamery in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. Since the company’s inception in 2003 the cheesemaking operations have grown to include a second small creamery and second herd of cows. A Cropping Center, which dries hay for the cows, is responsible for maintaining 976 open acres in a 15-mile radius of Jasper Hill Farm. The Cellars at Jasper Hill, an on-site, underground aging facility, maximizes the potential of cheeses made by the creamery, as well as those made by other local producers. Jasper Hill’s mission is to be a Standard Bearer of Quality and Innovation in the Artisan Cheese Industry and an active participant in the conservation of Vermont’s Working Landscape through the production of high-quality products that reflect a regional Taste of Place.

Zoe Brickley, ACS CCP®, CCSE® began exploring the world of cheese while attending culinary school in New York City. From there she took on the role of cave manager and American buyer at Murray’s Cheese after some time spent behind the counter. Currently, Zoe Director Development & Marketing for Cellars at Jasper Hill - a facility dedicated to preserving the working landscape in northern Vermont through farmstead cheese production.

Zoe has been an aesthetic judge and Certified Cheese Professional program committee member for the American Cheese Society (ACS) and competed in the Caseus International Cheesemonger Competition (2009). She has also presented many seminars for private companies as well as for organizations like the ACS, San Francisco Cheese School, and the Vermont and Seattle Cheese Festivals. She is an American Cheese Society Certified Cheese Professional and a Certified Cheese Sensory Evaluator.
